On behalf of Bankwest, Hello Social engaged us to create an activation that connected with brokers at high-profile industry events while launching the new Bankwest app. The experience needed to be portable, impactful, and simple to run across multiple venues. Our goal was to design an interactive, shareable experience that highlighted Bankwest’s leadership in digital banking—making processes faster, easier, and more rewarding for brokers and their clients.
To bring Bankwest’s vision to life, we created an immersive digital experience featuring two custom games that showcased the new app and engaged brokers through play. Designed for simplicity and portability, the activation delivered strong engagement across all venues.
Unlock the App challenged players to answer quiz questions and reveal a PIN to unlock a replica app, reinforcing simplicity and reward. Race to the Top invited brokers to swipe their way up a “digital home loan ladder,” racing to answer fastest.
Polite Playground worked with Hello Social to respond to the brief, leading the creative concepts through to design and software development of the games. The games combined fun and brand storytelling, positioning Bankwest as an innovator in smart, accessible digital banking.
Both games were housed within a sleek, branded build featuring mounted screens that created a professional, high-impact presence for VIP events.
The digital-first format encouraged social sharing as brokers posted their competitive moments online. By tapping into their drive for excellence, the activations delivered entertainment with purpose—raising awareness of the new app, reinforcing Bankwest’s digital-first positioning, and strengthening their authority within the broker community.
